Infiltrating syringomatous adenoma of the nipple (SAN) is a rare benign neoplasm of the breast that is often misdiagnosed. SAN may present with a subareolar lesion and clinical, mammographic, and ultrasonographic findings associated with malignancy. We present the case of a 60-year-old woman with a painful, firm, solid tumor in her left breast and deformation of the left nipple-areolar complex (NAC). ⋯ Three months after surgery, tumor recurrence occurred. The patient underwent revision surgery with wide excision of the skin and gland around the lesion, followed by immediate breast reconstruction, using a pedicled myocutaneous latissimus dorsi (pLD) flap. Extreme care should be taken when diagnosing SAN to ensure proper treatment and prevent recurrence.

This study aimed to obtain data on the knowledge, behavior, and immunization status of veterinary students about rabies. ⋯ The study revealed deficiencies in the students' awareness levels regarding rabies. Ascertaining a sufficient amount of theory and practice courses on rabies in the veterinary faculty curriculum, starting from earlier classes will contribute to the knowledge and behaviors of the students.

Accuracy of fluid delivery devices for the neonate: Are the measures assured?
Delivery of accurate volumes of fluid in surgical neonates and children is crucial for the good outcome of treatment. But how accurate are the calibrations on the fluid delivery devices? ⋯ This study has demonstrated that the FDDs used our center are accurately calibrated and safe as they deliver volumes of fluid as labeled. The findings in this study reassure us of the dependability and accuracy of delivery of the FDDs we use in children in our center.

The Child Welfare Card (CWC) contains the records of a child's immunization and information on the other aspects of the child's health, including growth curves and home treatment of diarrheal disease to mention a few. How easily retrievable these records are and what influence the cards have on parents/caregivers regarding the child's nurture are uncertain in our environment. ⋯ The overall knowledge, utilization, and accessibility of the CWC were poor. Parents/caregivers with good knowledge were more likely to utilize the information on the CWC compared with participants with poor knowledge.

Epistaxis is a common cause of otorhinolaryngological clinic visits and admissions into accident and emergency. Severe epistaxis could remarkably alter the hemodynamic milieu of individuals and results into significant morbidity and occasional mortality. ⋯ Coagulopathies, anaemia, and hemoglobinopathies are common findings among our patients with epistaxis.
