Objective of the study was to investigate effects of task specific circuit gait training to improve gait parameters and mobility among sub-acute and chronic stroke patients. A randomized control trial was conducted on stroke survivors of either gender being capable of standing 10 seconds and having 2-4 score on Rankin Modified Scale. Sample comprised of 30 participants randomly assigned into two groups. ⋯ After six weeks, significant improvement was recorded in TUG (p=0.014). Cadence (p=0.001), step length (p<0.001) and step width (p=0.009) were also significantly improved. Circuit gait training improves mobility and gait in stroke patients.

To estimate the incidence of microvascular complications among subjects with type 2 diabetes at a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ A high incidence of microvascular complications is found in subjects with type 2 diabetes. Poor glycaemic control, longer duration of diabetes and hypertension was found to be associated with the occurrence of these complications.

Shift work disorder is the presence of excessive day time sleepiness and insomnia affecting people whose work hours overlap with the typical sleep period. Shift work has pronounced effect on physical and mental health of an individual. Our objective was to estimate the prevalence of symptoms of shift work disorder and the factors associated with it among hospital staff in a tertiary care hospital in Bangalore, India. ⋯ Periodic screening during annual medical check-ups and health education on practicing good sleep hygiene will help address this important issue of shift work disorders among workers.

Sociodemographic Characteristics as Predictors of Satisfaction in Public and Private Dental Clinics.
This study aimed to investigate influence of multiple sociodemographic characteristics on the patient satisfaction levels in outpatient public and private dental practices of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ⋯ This study was exploratory and revealed an effect of individual variables on overall satisfaction score of the services attributes. Future plans for patient care could be developed with the help of this research.

Schizophrenia is serious illness with high comorbidity of other psychiatric illnesses such as substance abuse disorders, depression and anxiety disorder. The dual diagnosis of schizophrenia and anorexia nervosa in an adolescent male is a rare occurrence and is understudied. The case presented is of a 12-year-old boy with complaints of auditory hallucinations, odd behaviors, paranoid delusions and suicidal attempt along with body image distortion, dread of fatness, food restriction and very low Body mass Index. This case report, describe the comorbidity of schizophrenia and anorexia nervosa by highlighting its assessment and treatment in light of available literature.
