COVID-19 is a viral infection that has multisystemic physical and psychological complications. The following paper looks at the various challenges seen while treating psychiatric patients during the COVID pandemic. ⋯ There is also the concern of psychiatric side effects of medications used to manage COVID and medical complications caused by some side effects of psychiatric drugs. The telepsychiatry and telemedicine paradigm has made it mandatory for physicians to be vigilant of the same.

The students and teachers are major stakeholders whenever there is a change in the curriculum. Objective of the study was to assess the views of Third Year MBBS students and college teachers involved in teaching Third Year MBBS class regarding the inclusion of special pathology to the already cumbersome course content. ⋯ Although curriculum change is a dynamic process and leads to refinement of the existing content but it should be implemented after proper planning, training and validation so that the students and the teachers can cope with and derive maximum benefit.

To determine maternal and perinatal outcome after Ramadan fasting during pregnancy. ⋯ Fasting women were not found to have poor maternal and fetal outcomes when compared to non-fasting women.

This study aims to compare the students' performance in Obstetrics and Gynecology by using two teaching modalities, i.e., Flip the classroom (FTC) compared to Traditional lectures (TL) among final year medical students and assessment of the students' satisfaction towards FTC as learning modality. ⋯ Scores were significantly high for Flip the classroom topics compared to Traditional lectures.

To analyse the frequency, co morbidities and outcome ofAcute Kidney Injury (AKI) in elderly patients. ⋯ AKI is frequent among elderly admitted patients, commonest co- morbidity in these patients is hypertension. Outcome of AKI in elderly patients is poor with death in 22% of our patients.
