To explore the evaluation of left ventricular diastolic function (LVDF) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) using ultrasound images (UI) combined with electrocardiogram (ECG) on bilateral filtering image noise reduction algorithm (BFINRA). ⋯ The combination of UI and ECG could better assess LVDF in CHD patients.

This study was to explore the application value of B-ultrasound in guiding puncture biopsy of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the clinical nursing effects under the guidance of B-ultrasound. ⋯ US-PRB is a safe and effective auxiliary examination method, which can improve the success rate of puncture and reduce postoperative complications. Effective nursing can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve patient satisfaction.

Being diagnosed as positive for SARS-2 CoV RNA on PCR generates anxiety and stress as well as depression due to the prospects of being isolated. With genetically varied forms of virus on the rise the widely adopted manner to protect oneself is social distancing. This is frightening for rehabilitation professionals who at times are exposed at close quarters to the patients as rehabilitation is essential. ⋯ With this literature review we conclude that COVID-19 has resulted in fear of contracting and transmitting this disease among health professionals and can be reduced and managed by provision of tele-rehabilitation and telehealth facilities. Patients emerging from prolonged mechanical ventilations require extensive rehabilitation to restore routine body functions. The role of the otolaryngologist and speech language pathologist (SLP) is formal and direct to ensure appropriate and timely long term intervention and rehabilitation to ensure that these individuals re-enter mainstream activities.

To develop a clinical technique for objective estimation of exact location and degree of participation of face and neck soft tissues in age-related deformations for determine effective mini-invasive treatment techniques. ⋯ Ultrasound examination is a non-invasive, harmless, clinically available, inexpensive examination that allows to determine exact localization and degree of participation of different soft tissues of face and neck in age-related changes. That is very important for planning and use different minimally invasive techniques for facial and neck rejuvenation.

In children younger than two years, most surgeons perform the inguinal herniotomy superficially through the external ring, a technique known as Mitchell-Banks' Herniotomy (MBH) while in older children, commonly Ferguson and Gross Herniotomy (FGH) is performed which involves opening of inguinal canal. Our aim was to compare the FGH and MBH in terms of recurrence in boys with inguinal hernia. ⋯ Mitchell-Banks' herniotomy has lower recurrence rate than Ferguson and Gross Herniotomy in boys older than two years.
