To compare and analyze the clinical effects of ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrolithotripsy and X-ray-guided percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in the treatment of complex renal calculi without hydronephrosis. ⋯ Ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrolithotomy is a safe and effective treatment regimen, boasting various advantages such as real-time monitoring of the surgical process, more accurate and clear channel establishment, avoidance of large vessel injury, shortening of surgical time, alleviation of kidney injury and reduction of surgical complications, which is more advantageous for the treatment of complex renal calculi.

To determine the frequency of premature ejaculatory dysfunction in rheumatoid arthritis patients. ⋯ There is high prevalence of PED in RA, it needs proper evaluation, treatment and urgent research is needed to know more about it.

Pregnant women are the most susceptible group for Iodine deficiency disorder (IDD) whose neonate are at the risk of brain impairment, if they are iodine deficient in utero. The study was carried out to analyze the concerns and effects regarding iodized salt and IDD in women seeking antenatal care in Pakistan. ⋯ There is an immense need to address the present concerns of women seeking antenatal care by advocacy and health education on individual and at mass level regarding the use of iodized salt among women seeking antenatal care. Advocacy can be done by governmental initiatives, medical personnel and through mass media in all tertiary care hospitals of Pakistan.

To compare the efficacy of automated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (A-CPR) and manual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (M-CPR) in the rescue of cardiac and respiratory arrest. ⋯ The application effect of A-CPR in the rescue of cardiac and respiratory arrest, the improvement of blood gas analysis indexes, respiration and condition improvement are more significant than M-CPR.

To investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) on early cognitive function in elderly patients after single port thoracoscopic lobectomy. ⋯ TEAS treatment could promote improved early postoperative cognitive function of elderly patients undergoing single port thoracoscopic lobectomy and could accelerate the recovery.
