To determine the cause of stillbirth after application of relevant condition at death (ReCoDe) classification system. ⋯ Application of ReCoDe classification is easy to understand and applicable, especially in low resource settings with associated causes identified in vast majority of cases.

To determine the success rate and complications of primary endoscopic third ventri-culostomy (ETV) in infants with obstructive hydrocephalous. ⋯ ETV is successful in 57.1% of infants with obstructive type of hydrocephalous. The post op complications in case of ETV are lower than Ventriculo-peritoneal shunts. Therefore, ETV can be offered to infants having obstructive hydrocephalous.

To determine the association between asthma severity and the likelihood of hospitalization by using Pediatric Respiratory Assessment Measure (PRAM) score for pediatric patients who present to the emergency department (ED) with mild, moderate or severe asthma exacerbations and those who received standard intensive asthma therapy. ⋯ The 4-hour PRAM score is the best predictor for the need of hospitalization. It is suggested that these results are applied clinically in the pediatric ED to improve patient flow and to better facilitate intensive therapy of patients at triage to decrease the need for hospitalization.

To investigate the effect and clinical value of the application of vacuum assisted closure (VAC) combined with multiple flaps in the treatment of severe hand trauma. ⋯ VAC combined with multiple flaps boasts significant trauma repair effect and preferable clinical application value in the treatment of patients with severe hand trauma, which is principally reflected in significantly improving the hand function of patients and remarkably alleviating the inflammatory response of patients.

HIV/AIDS is mostly seen in people who inject recreational drugs (PWID). Adherence has to be optimum for its treatment to be effective. Compliance to HIV medication has been problematic in PWID making HIV control difficult. Many studies in the past have validated educational activities like rehabilitation programs beneficial in maintaining regularity in medication intake. This brought us to the question of looking at such programs and its effects on our population. This study was conducted to assess the impact of other perspectives of abstinence and adherence including family support and employment status on a person's willingness for treatment continuation and avoidance of drugs. ⋯ Family and spousal support and employment promote optimal ARV compliance and should be encouraged when starting ARVs. Enrollment in a long-term complementing educational program would further enhance ARV intake and abstinence.
