To evaluate the effect of Rose Bengal (RB), methylene blue (MB) and curcumin used as a canal disinfectant on the extrusion bond strength (EBS) of FRCP (fiber reinforced composite resin) with canal dentin. ⋯ Root canal dentin treated with different PS (MBP, CP, and RBP) demonstrated better EBS than the conventional disinfecting regime (NaOCl +17% EDTA). CP and RBP displayed better EBS than MBP.

This study aimed to validate Baveno-VI recommendations for variceal screening in cACLD in our region and proposed our own cutoff values. ⋯ Substantial number of VNT in cACLD patients are missed by following Baveno-VI recommendations and these needs to be revised on regional basis.

To perform a correlation analysis of serum 25-hydroxyVitamin-D[25-OH-D], bone turnover markers (BTMs), and bone mineral density (BMD) in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) during mid- and late pregnancy and state the significance of these factors for guiding clinical prevention and control of GDM. ⋯ During mid and late pregnancy, GDM patients are prone to Vitamin-D deficiency, which has an adverse effect on bone turnover, BMD, and even the health of the mother and the development of the fetus. Therefore, routine screening for Vitamin-D deficiency is recommended throughout pregnancy.

To compare Chest X-rays findings in COVID -19 suspected and confirmed patients on RT-PCR, presented at corona filtration center, Benazir Bhutto hospital Rawalpindi. ⋯ Bilateral, peripheral distribution of middle and lower lobes ground glass haze or consolidation with no pleural effusion is significantly related to COVID-19 pneumonia. Overlapping imaging features of the infectious and non-infectious COVID mimickers can be further excluded by detailed clinical evaluation and further radiological workup.

To assess knowledge and perception among Pakistani physicians towards sepsis. ⋯ A common belief exists that sepsis remains a challenge to treat among doctors. Moreover, there is consensus that it is the most frequently miss diagnosed condition in critical care and a dire need exists for its early diagnosis. Additionally, prompt management of presumed sepsis is imperative to improve outcomes.
