To evaluate the influence of dapagliflozin on renal functions and diuretics use in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). ⋯ Institution of dapagliflozin did not cause any significant deterioration of renal functions, whereas; it was associated with improved diuretic response as depicted by more pronounced weight loss at comparatively lower doses of loop diuretics.

To compare the clinical effects of hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) in the treatment of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients. ⋯ Peritoneal dialysis is more effective in maintaining the hemodynamic stability for ESRD patients, reducing blood pressure level, improving the clearance rate of molecular substances, and protecting the renal function of patients compared to hemodialysis.

To compare the healing of post-cesarean infected wounds by a combination of honey and povidone iodine & povidone-iodine alone dressings using ASEPSIS Score. ⋯ Significant improvements in ASEPSIS score occurred with the use of honey with povidone-iodine combination.

To study the correlation of Triclosan (TCS) exposure with typing and staging of endometriosis, and with other potential influencing factors. ⋯ TCS exposure level in endometriosis patients was higher than that in normal women, and is positively correlated with endometriosis staging and income of the patients.

The objective of this study was to determine the diagnostic value of stress perfusion CMR for the detection of coronary artery disease. ⋯ Stress perfusion CMRI can be considered as a first line, relatively safe, noninvasive test with significant accuracy to diagnose coronary artery disease in patients with suspected CAD without subjecting these patients to invasive coronary angiogram.
