The study compares two different interfaces of CBL (WhatsApp® and Face-to-Face) in undergraduate dental students and examines WhatsApp's effectiveness as a teaching tool. ⋯ The study concluded that both WhatsApp® and Face-to-Face CBL effectively improved dental students' learning, with WhatsApp® yielding results comparable to traditional methods.

It's no secret that medical students have access to a plethora of medical literature, which can make it challenging to determine the right sources and how to cover them effectively using various study habits and strategies. Our objective was to determine the association of study habits (time and location), study duration, study strategies, and study sources with academic performance. ⋯ This study established a noteworthy link between academic performance and various factors, including daily study hours, strategies, and specific study sources. Notably, morning study sessions, active recall, MCQs-based strategies, and online video resources showed significant associations with enhanced academic performance.

Burden of congenital and hereditary anomalies in the population of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan.
This study was aimed to elucidate the prevalence-pattern of congenital and hereditary anomalies (CA) in the population of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), which is a logistically difficult area in the north-east of Pakistan and in the foot-hills of Himalayas. ⋯ Majority of the anomalies observed in this cohort are of severe nature rendering high morbidity burden on the population and require early detection, intervention and management.

Exploring the clinical efficacy of tumor cell reduction combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy in treatment of ovarian cancer. ⋯ The combination of tumor cell reduction surgery and neoadjuvant chemotherapy for ovarian cancer can significantly shorten surgical and hospitalization time, inhibit tumor marker expression, improve patient immune function and quality of life.

To determine the prevalence of urinary abnormalities in asymptomatic school children. ⋯ Urine screening is necessary for early detection and management of kidney diseases. Marked number of children was found having urinary abnormalities. Asymptomatic proteinuria was the most common finding reflecting underlying kidney pathology going undiagnosed.
