To evaluate the various temporary transvenous pacemaker (TPM) access sites, its indications, procedural complications, and outcomes of patients. ⋯ Atrioventricular block is the commonest indication for temporary pacing in our study. The average time the TPM remained in place was significantly higher in the trans jugular approach group along with a higher complication rate in this group.

To investigate the correlation between GAL-3, Klotho, calcium and phosphorus indexes and cardiovascular complications in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). ⋯ A positive correlation can be seen between the levels of Ca+2, PO- 4 and cardiac function classification in patients with CKD. Klotho is a protective factor for cardiovascular diseases.

To observe the anesthesia and clinical efficacy of inhalation anesthesia and intravenous anesthesia in patients with trigeminal neuralgia undergoing surgery. ⋯ Inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane is more effective than intravenous anesthesia in trigeminal neuralgia patients treated with trigeminal nerve balloon avulsion, boasting satisfactory safety, less impact on hemodynamics, and shorter recovery time of consciousness.

To evaluate the value and compliance rate of voiding vesicoureteral urosonography in pediatric vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). ⋯ Voiding vesicoureteral urosonography has a high coincidence rate in the detection of vesicoureteral reflux in children.

To determine correlation of HbA1c with serum iron and transferrin saturation in non-diabetic patients with iron deficiency. ⋯ Low serum Iron and TSAT was related to elevation in HbA1c value. Iron deficiency needs to be corrected before HbA1c interpretation.
