To investigate the relationship between isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) 1/2 mutation, telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) gene promoter mutation and the prognosis of human glioma patients. ⋯ IDH1/2 gene and TERT promoter mutations are more frequent in patients with human glioma. These related factors can be used as molecular markers to aid in the prognosis of patients with glioma.

To assess the value of feature-tracking cardiac magnetic resonance (FT-CMR) imaging in the quantitative evaluation of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). ⋯ FT-CMR, a non-invasive and rapid method for analyzing myocardial strains, has a high diagnostic value for AMI and should be helpful for the prevention and intervention of ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarctions.

The Valsalva maneuver (VM) is the most effective measure that can be carried out to treat supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). Our objective was to compare the efficacy of postural modified VM with 20 ml syringe to standard VM for the emergency treatment of SVT. ⋯ Modified Valsalva by using a wide-bore syringe is more effective method than standard Valsalva in terminating SVT.

This study aimed to explore the impact of hyperkalemia at admission on hospitalization days (HDs) among advanced chronic kidney disease patients (CKD) with type two diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in China. ⋯ Hyperkalemia could be an independent risk factor increasing HDs of advanced CKD patients with T2DM.

To explore the relationship between Monoclonal Gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and Multiple Myeloma (MM) based on bioinformatics methods. ⋯ The progression of MGUS to MM is driven by aberrant cytokine secretion, which leads to inflammation immune dysfunction, and dysregulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
