To determine diagnostic accuracy of NMP 22 and urine cytology in the detection of transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) urinary bladder taking cystoscopy as a gold standard in patients having provisional diagnosis of bladder cancer (BC). ⋯ NMP22 is a quick, point of care test having higher sensitivity, NPV and accuracy but similar specificity and PPV to urine cytology for detection of TCC urinary bladder. Combination outperformed both in terms of sensitivity while having modest specificity.

To determine the clinical and demographical profile of corona-virus illness among Tablighi Jamaat and Zaireen kept in quarantine / isolation center at Sukkur and Hyderabad Sindh. ⋯ RT-PCR measure allowed fast, delicate, and explicit discovery of SARS-CoV in biochemical diagnosis. The majority of cases at both centers were asymptomatic while the mortality was identified in 2.8% cases (having co-morbidities) at Hyderabad isolation center whereas no mortality was observed at Sukkur isolation center.

Surgical managements for these suspicious nontoxic swellings requires open conventional method of thyroidectomy by neck incisions that can result in prominent scars and immediate risk usually hemorrhage. However new technological innovations came into practiced that include video assisted minimal invasive endoscopy by axillo-breast approach that gives very promising results with excellent cosmesis. In this study, we compared conventional open surgery with minimal invasive endoscopic techniques and associate various complaints and complications that were encountered in surgery. ⋯ The complications with endoscopic approaches are higher but they are minor and resolved spontaneously within maximum period of six weeks. However scar mark satisfaction was much higher in endoscopic lobectomy group.

The objective of the study was to assess the outcome of upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) in healthy children. ⋯ Majority of URTIs in healthy children resolved with supportive treatment and do not require antibiotics. Antibiotic stewardship in simple URTIs should be practiced using awareness and advocacy campaigns.

Case Reports
Coexisting giant splenic artery aneurysm and non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor.
The splenic artery aneurysm (SAA) is rare clinical entity which is the third most common intra-abdominal aneurysm. Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) are rare malignancies which comprise less than 2% of all pancreatic tumors. Non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors set forth up to 90% of all PNETs. ⋯ Distal pancreatectomy, splenic aneurysm resection and splenectomy was performed. Pathological results revealed that there was a 12 cm sized giant true splenic aneurysm and 0.7 cm sized neuroendocrine tumor in the pancreatic tissue. This manuscript is presentation of surgical approach to a case with coexistence of these two rare conditions.
