Service Quality Improvement of Outpatient Blood Collection by Lean Management.
To explore the application effect of lean management in improving the quality of outpatient blood collection services. ⋯ The application of lean management can significantly shorten outpatient waiting time for blood collection, improve patients satisfaction levels, and enhance the overall patient experience. Thus, lean management can significantly improve the service quality of outpatient blood collection.

Comparing the Sensitivities of Measures of Adherence to Antihypertensive Drugs Using Korean National Health Insurance Claims Data.
Numerous studies have utilized various forms of adherence measures. However, methods for measuring adherence are inconsistent. Moreover, few studies are available that have compared sensitivities of the effects of several criteria on medication adherence. This study aims to compare measures of adherence using varied analytical decisions. ⋯ The decisions regarding identifying an end-date-of-study and overlaps showed meaningful impacts of all three measures including PDCwith≥1, PDCwm, and DPPR on measuring medication adherence.

Association Between Caregivers' Family Management and Quality of Life in Children with Chronic Disease in Southern Thailand.
Caring for children with chronic diseases, caregivers have to manage their child's daily life to prevent complications and improve their quality of life. This study investigated family management of children with chronic diseases, quality of life of children, and correlation between family management of caregivers and quality of life of children as perceived by the caregivers. ⋯ Most caregivers could have easy family management in caring for the children. In summary, easy family management will allow children with chronic illness to receive decent care from their caregivers, contributing to improved quality of life.

Assessment of Prescription Pattern of Systemic Steroidal Drugs in the Outpatient Department of Menelik II Referral Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2019.
Because systemic corticosteroids are associated with severe adverse effects, a study on the prescribing pattern for rationalizing drug therapy is needed. ⋯ In this study, most steroids were indicated for respiratory disorders and prednisolone was found to be the most widely prescribed medication among systemic steroids.

ReviewDisease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis: A Literature Review Exploring Patient Perspectives.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) prognosis is often uncertain. This literature review considers patients' understanding of, and perspectives on, MS progression to better comprehend the unmet needs of people with MS (PwMS), in order to improve treatment adherence and quality of life (QoL). ⋯ Patient perspectives on disease progression in MS and other chronic progressive conditions are under-investigated and under-reported. The limited evidence available highlights the importance of providing adequate information and effective HCP communication. While further studies are needed, the current evidence base offers information and insights that may help HCPs to enhance patient care, well-being, and treatment adherence.
