ReviewA Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of the Effectiveness of Adherence Therapy and Its Treatment Duration in Patients with Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders.
Adherence therapy (AT) is an intervention for improving medication adherence of people with schizophrenia spectrum disorders, but no systematic reviews have yet summarized the effectiveness and minimum treatment duration of AT. We here aimed to systematically examine the effectiveness of AT in improving outcomes versus treatment as usual (TAU) and its minimum effective duration for people diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. ⋯ The AT had limited effects in terms of improving the attitudes and behaviors of people with schizophrenia spectrum disorders with respect to medication adherence, but did improve patients' psychiatric symptoms. The therapy should be performed by trained staff for maximum benefit, and the recommended duration of the intervention is 12 hours.

ReviewA Systematic Review of the Hill-Bone Compliance to Blood Pressure Therapy Scale.
Poor medication adherence hampers hypertension control and increases the risk of adverse health outcomes. Medication adherence can be measured with direct and indirect methods. The Hill-Bone Compliance to High Blood Pressure Therapy (HBCHBPT) Scale, one of the most popular adherence measures, indirectly assesses adherence to hypertension therapy in three behavioral domains: appointment keeping, diet and medication adherence. ⋯ The HBCHBPT Scale has high versatility globally and has been used in various settings by various healthcare worker cadres and researchers. The scale has several strengths, including high adherence phenotyping capabilities, contributing to the paradigm shift toward personalized health care.

Case Reports Clinical TrialDoes Intradialytic Group Exercise Programme Influence Patient-Reported Outcomes, Laboratory Parameters, and Anthropometric Parameters in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients? A Single-Group Repeated-Measures Trial.
Maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients often suffer from fatigue and are recommended to undertake physical activities. The optimal format of exercise rehabilitation for MHD patients remains uncertain despite demonstrated health benefits. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an intradialytic group exercise programme for MHD patients. ⋯ The findings suggested that the intradialytic group exercise programme could improve MHD patients' fatigue, depression, health-related quality of life, nutritional status, and inflammation.
