Readiness for Hospital Discharge After a Cesarean Section and Associated Factors Among Chinese Mothers: A Single Centre Cross-Sectional Study.
Knowledge of the readiness for hospital discharge can help health care professionals accurately determine the patients' discharge time. However, few studies were on the readiness for discharge and its related factors among mothers with cesarean sections. Thus, this study aims to examine the readiness for hospital discharge and its associated factors among Chinese mothers with cesarean sections. ⋯ The readiness for hospital discharge of mothers with cesarean sections need to be improved. Improving the quality of discharge teaching, parenting sense of competence, and family function may help improve the readiness for hospital discharge of mothers with cesarean sections.

Influence of Disease Acceptance on the Quality of Life of Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis - Single Centre Study.
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic, progressive disease, often with multiple complications, with periods of exacerbation and remission. The onset of the disease usually affects people under 30 years of age. The disease impairs physical, psychological, and social functioning, leading to disability. Therefore, patients with AS face the challenge of adapting to life with the condition and deteriorating quality of life (QoL). ⋯ AIS in patients with AS condition correlated positively with their QoL in all domains. Both disease acceptance and quality of life are influenced by specific sociodemographic and disease-related data. Prevention of complications and the type of treatment for AS (primarily biological treatment) can be essential in improving patients' quality of life.

Factors Affecting Patient Adherence to Inhalation Therapy: An Application of SEIPS Model 2.0.
This study aims to explore factors that affect patient adherence to inhalation therapy by applying a patient-centered approach. ⋯ The findings of the study identified 10 influential factors that impact on patient adherence to inhalation therapy. A SEIPS-based conceptual model was constructed based on the responses of patients and HCPs to explore the experiences of patients engaging in inhalation therapy and interacting with inhalation devices. In particular, new insight about factors of emotional experience, physical environment and traditional cultural beliefs were found crucial for patients with Asthma/COPD to conduct patients' adherent behaviors.
