Overview of Patients with Hemophilia in China: Demographics, Diseases, Treatment, and Health Status.
In China, there were over 65,000 hemophilia patients according to estimations requiring overall description. However, former Chinese studies related to hemophilia were based on data of relatively small sample size from single-center or selected multi-centers in specific areas. ⋯ Our findings suggest the urgency for promoting hemophilia care and improving the social adaptation of hemophilia patients in China.

Preferences for Physical Examination Service in Community Health Service Center in China: A Discrete Choice Experiment.
Physical examination services play a crucial role in the early detection of diseases, improving the effectiveness of treatment. However, the current physical examination services provided by community health service centers are limited. The objective of this study was to investigate the aspects of physical examination services that are most valued by residents. ⋯ We should improve the construction of the service team, optimize the service mode, expand the scope of examination services, reduce the cost of examination services, and meet the needs of residents for physical examination services. More attention should be paid to the needs of elderly and rural residents.

Older Adult Perspectives on Statin Continuation and Discontinuation in Primary Cardiovascular Disease Prevention: A Mixed-Methods Study.
Evidence for statin use for primary cardiovascular disease prevention in older adults is limited. When evidence on risk-benefit profile of a medication is uncertain, using it or not becomes a preference-sensitive decision. We aimed to assess and explore patient perspectives on continuation and discontinuation of statins used for primary cardiovascular prevention in older adults. ⋯ This study highlights factors that influence patient willingness to continue or discontinue statins, patient uncertainty about statin continuation or discontinuation, and the important role physicians play in the decision-making process.

The Burden of Suboptimal Insulin Dosing in People with Diabetes in Spain: Barriers and Solutions from the Physician Perspective.
This study aimed to determine physicians' perceptions of the extent of suboptimal insulin dosing and the barriers and solutions to optimal dosing in people with diabetes (PwD) treated with insulin. ⋯ According to physicians' perspectives, suboptimal insulin dosing remains common among PwD. This survey highlights the need for integrated and automated insulin dosing support to manage the complexity of insulin treatment, improve communications between PwD and physicians, and ultimately improve outcomes for PwD.

Case ReportsReal-Time Experience of Abrocitinib for the Treatment of Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid: A Case Report.
Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP), a rare autoimmune vesiculous and erosive disorder, may affect multiple mucous membranes, with the oral cavity being the most commonly affected site. Its treatment depends on the site(s) of mucosal involvement and disease severity. ⋯ Abrocitinib is a promising agent for the treatment of MMP with oral involvement.
