Quality of Integrated Management of Newborn and Childhood Illness Services at Health Centers in Jimma, Southwest Ethiopia.
The Integrated Management of Newborn and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) strategy includes both preventive and curative interventions to improve practices in health facilities, the health system and at home. The quality of these interventions has been very rarely subjected to scientific inquiry in Ethiopia. This study assessed quality of IMNCI services in health centers of Jimma, South West Ethiopia, 2014. ⋯ Perceived mean of caretakers' satisfaction at the health centers of Jimma town was low as compared to national standards and long waiting time while providing services. Availability of prescribed medications, receiving first dose of medication and receiving laboratory services were factors associated with patients' satisfaction. Respective health centers need to ensure availability of medications and supplies and professionals need to pay special attention on medical services like laboratory services, medication and decrease waiting time while providing health services.

Blood Pressure Control and Adherence to Drug Treatment in Patients with Hypertension Treated at a Specialized Outpatient Clinic: A Cross-Sectional Study.
To evaluate and identify variables associated with the control of hypertension and adherence to antihypertensive drug treatment in a group of patients with hypertension monitored in a specialized, highly complex outpatient service. ⋯ There was a high frequency of patients with satisfactory adherence to antihypertensive drug treatment. Blood pressure control was less frequent and was associated with social and treatment-related factors.

Cancer Patients' Perspectives and Experiences of Chemotherapy-Induced Myelosuppression and Its Impact on Daily Life.
To evaluate which side effects of chemotherapy are considered most burdensome by patients with cancer, identify which health care professionals pay most attention to symptoms associated with chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression (CIM) from the patient perspective, and capture the "patient voice" describing how CIM impacts their daily lives. ⋯ Participants described a real-world impact of CIM that often isolates them from family and friends, and means that they are unable to work or perform tasks of daily living. Using measures that help patients to recognize and communicate the signs and symptoms of CIM might increase the likelihood of maintaining daily lives as close to normal as possible, during and after chemotherapy treatment.

Factors Associated with Medical Follow-Up Adherence for Patients on All-Oral Regimen for Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis in Shenzhen, China.
The aim of this study is to identify factors affecting medical follow-up adherence of pulmonary multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) patients on an all-oral regimen in Shenzhen, China to enhance intervention measures for increased treatment success. ⋯ Our survey revealed that financial burden, being single and a non-user friendly medical appointment booking system are the main barriers to patients' medical follow-up compliance. More financial assistance, better patient support and simplifying medical appointment booking procedures are facilitators of better treatment adherence.

What Factors Determine the Patients' Choice in Finding Their Office Urologist?
The present study aimed to investigate how patients identify a quality urologist in primary health care and how they determine and evaluate their provider's qualities before their first examination. ⋯ Most patients evaluate primarily the effectiveness of the care they receive instead of the urologist's personality traits or personal relationships.
