Health Literacy and Medication Adherence Among Patients with Type 2 Diabetes in Jordan: A Cross-Sectional Study.
Improving health literacy has been found to play a significant role in enhancing medication adherence in patients with type 2 diabetes. ⋯ The binary regression model revealed that a higher JDHLQ score significantly increased the odds of a high adherence level. The significant association between improved health literacy and medication adherence necessitates the implementation of educational campaigns for enhancing literacy and hence medication adherence among patients with type 2 diabetes.

Patient Satisfaction Survey on Portable Infusion Pumps for Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy: Hard-Shelled or Soft-Shelled?
Elastomeric infusion pumps are widely used in colorectal cancer chemotherapy. However, no studies to date have investigated patient preferences regarding different infusion pump types. ⋯ The selection of portable elastomeric infusion pumps should consider the preferences of patients with colorectal cancer, as these devices have the potential to enhance their quality of life.

Stage of Change of Transtheoretical Model for Nine Health-Related Behaviors Among Hypertensive Patients: Cross-Sectional Study.
This study aimed to determine the current stage of change (SOG) toward seven healthy eating behaviors and two healthy lifestyle behaviors related to blood pressure (BP) control. The lifestyle behaviors included smoking Behavior and practicing regular exercise, while the dietary behaviors included the DASH diet guidelines. ⋯ Patients with hypertension in Jordan are still in the pre-action stages for quitting smoking, practicing physical exercise, and consuming 5 servings of refined sweets and added sugars weekly. The current outcome suggests a need for nutritional counseling, education, and interventions to raise awareness of lifestyle factors influencing BP among hypertension patients.

Patient Preferences Influencing Treatment Decision-Making in Early-Stage Breast Cancer in Germany, Italy, and Japan.
Patients with early breast cancer (eBC) are increasingly provided with different options, which may involve a sequence of different treatments and treatment modalities, and eligibility for certain adjuvant treatments depending upon pre-surgical and surgical outcomes. This study examined patient preferences around aspects of treatment decision-making in eBC. ⋯ Patients value individualized treatment tailored to their risk of recurrence and tolerance of side effects, highlighting the need for focused patient education about options, to encourage their engagement.

Residents Preferences for Pharmacist-Managed Clinic in China: A Discrete Choice Experiment.
This study aimed to survey and analyze the preferences for pharmacist-managed clinic among urban residents in China. ⋯ The respondents were willing to choose a PMC relative to the current situation. When deciding on a pharmacist-managed clinic, residents are driven by pharmacists' competency, consultation fee, availability of consultation rooms and collaborative care or independent pharmacist service. Differences in patients' preferences identified in the study provide information on pharmacist-managed clinics that meet residents' expectations.
