Patient Education with New Media Integration Self-Management Support Model Improves Therapeutic Outcomes of Rosacea Patients.
To retrospectively analyze the factors influencing the treatment of rosacea patients with regular follow-up by self-management support in the new media chronic disease management model, to explore the effect of self-management support and to provide an objective basis for clinical application. ⋯ Self-management support in the new media chronic disease management model has a positive impact on the treatment of rosacea patients.

The Effect of Health Literacy on Preoperative Anxiety Levels in Patients Undergoing Elective Surgery.
This study aimed to determine preoperative anxiety levels, their associated factors, and the relationship between health literacy and preoperative anxiety in adult patients undergoing elective surgery. ⋯ As the level of health literacy increased, preoperative anxiety levels decreased. Preoperative assessment and education are fundamental to perioperative patient care, particularly in the surgical setting.

Recall Bias in the Assessment of Cough for Patients Discharged from Lung Surgery.
This study aimed to evaluate the presence of recall bias when patients retrospectively report cough scores. ⋯ Retrospective assessment of post-discharge cough in patients who underwent lung surgery will introduce recall bias, with a tendency of underestimation. The high-trajectory group, interval time and post-discharge time are influencing factors of recall bias. For patients with severe cough at discharge, a shorter recall periods should be employed for monitoring, due to the large bias that results from a longer recall period.

Real-World Comparison of First-Line Treatment Adherence Between Single-Agent Ibrutinib and Acalabrutinib in Patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
Increased dosing frequency adversely affects treatment adherence and outcomes in chronic diseases; however, such data related to treatment adherence is lacking in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). This study compared adherence between patients treated with ibrutinib (once-daily) versus acalabrutinib (twice-daily) as first-line (1L) therapy for CLL/SLL. ⋯ In this real-world analysis, CLL/SLL patients initiating 1L once-daily ibrutinib had >50% higher treatment adherence than those initiating twice-daily acalabrutinib during their LOT. Given the importance of sustained adherence for disease control in CLL/SLL, dosing frequency may be an important consideration for patients and physicians.

Unveiling Seniors' Perception of Mobility: Urbanization, Region, and Physical Activity.
Maintaining mobility is fundamental to active aging, allowing older adults to lead dynamic and independent lives. The perception of mobility among older adults significantly impacts their overall well-being and quality of life. Given the aging population, mobility has become an increasingly pressing issue. ⋯ While most studies have focused on urban settings, this study highlights the situation in rural municipalities. Substantially worse pedestrian conditions in availability of pedestrian crossings, benches, and lighting were recognized in rural municipalities versus cities. Understanding the complexity of mobility and the spatial locations relevant for older persons concerning potential barriers and facilitators for mobility aids in planning and adapting neighborhood environments to promote active and healthy aging in place.
