To assess the knowledge and attitudes of physicians of different specialties, including psychiatrists, regarding forensic psychiatry to determine whether further modification or training is needed in the psychiatry residency program. ⋯ Although the perspective of physicians regarding forensic psychiatry was found to be positive, their knowledge of the topic seems to be lacking.

To examine asthma prevalence and the relationship between the level of knowledge and quality of life (QoL) among asthmatic secondary school children aged 13-14 years old in Malaysia. ⋯ This study has provided valuable information on asthma prevalence among Malaysian adolescents and their knowledge on asthma condition. Further research should explore the correlation factors of asthma knowledge and QoL.

To study childhood nephrolithiasis and nephrocalcinosis caused by metabolic disorders, distal renal tubular acidosis (dRTA), and familial hypomagnesemia, hypercalciuria, and nephrocalcinosis (FHHNC). ⋯ Childhood nephrolithiasis is mainly related to metabolic disorders and is associated with poor renal outcomes. Nephrocalcinosis and nephrolithiasis have poor outcomes when associated with FHHNC, while nephrocalcinosis associated with dRTA has relatively good renal outcomes.

To evaluate the diagnostic utility of self-collected saliva in coronavirus desease-19 (COVID-19) screening procedures. ⋯ Although naso/oropharyngeal swab tests are the most accurate and important diagnostic tools, the saliva-based testing method can be used as a suitable alternative test, with the advantages of increased patient convenience, efficient testing, and the need for fewer medical staff and resources. In particular, simple collecting method such as drooling or spitting without coughing would be effective in evaluating the symptomatic patients.PROSPERO no.: CRD42021279287.
