To explore the trimester wise significance of the primary outcome in pregnant women during coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic. ⋯ In our study, FGR and miscarriage were the identified complications. However, the maternal and neonatal end result of COVID-19 was satisfactory.

To assess trends in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery (ORL-HNS) referrals among pediatric patients, and to address common urgent causes of ORL-HNS referrals in this population. Additionally, to give recommendations regarding these causes, and assessing the impacts of coronavirus desease-19 on such referrals. ⋯ Maternity and pediatric hospitals make up the largest number of referring hospitals for ORL-HNS urgent cases. Expanding ORL-HNS services has been recommended in highly demanding areas. standards for urgent ORL-HNS referrals may limit inappropriate urgent referrals.

To assess the antibacterial activity of ceftobiprole against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) from various body specimen types and different patterns of resistance. ⋯ The excellent activity of ceftobiprole against MRSA would have major implications in management of the patients with serious infections, as an empirical treatment or alternative to vancomycin. Ceftobiprole has a very low activity against MDR P. aeruginosa, and its susceptibility should be tested prior to use for treatment.

To determine the prevalence of May-Thurner syndrome (MTS) in left lower limb deep venous thrombosis (DVT) cases and to analyze the outcome of endovascular intervention in these patients. ⋯ Patients with MTS as cause of DVT may benefit from early endovascular intervention.

To evaluate the hematological parameters in dyspepsia patients infected with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection from Al Qassim province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). ⋯ The findings show that H. pylori infection may not be related to anemia in dyspepsia patients from the Central region of KSA.
