To examined the impacts of chronic pain on depression and poor sleep quality dimensions as well as the mediating function of poor sleep quality in the pathway between chronic pain and depression. ⋯ Among chronic pain patients, the high rates of poor sleep quality and depression requires a special attention. Chronic pain intensity and disability predict depression and sleep quality dimensions differently. The result underlines the need of managing poor sleep quality to address depression in the context of chronic pain.

To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of cervical cancer cases reported at a tertiary care teaching hospital in western Saudi Arabia. ⋯ The lack of an effective screening program for cervical cancer increases the likelihood of a late diagnosis and higher rates of complications and mortality. Public health programs should focus on cancer screening, screening, and reporting HPV infections, and supporting HPV vaccination activities.

To identify clinical and laboratory characteristics of the Saudi children with confirmed COVID-19. ⋯ Identifying the clinical and laboratory characteristics of the Saudi children with confirmed COVID-19 will improve understanding of this disease's presentation and will help put rapid and proper management strategies into place to face this pandemic. A high index of suspicion is needed for cases presenting with multi-system inflammatory disease, which represented 5.7% of the included study population.

To assess and age stratify the types and frequencies of endometrial pathologies in Saudi women with abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) that underwent endometrial biopsies, at our hospital over a 13-year period. ⋯ Awareness of the probable spectrum of endometrial histopathologies in the various ages is useful in guiding management. Endometrial biopsies are valuable in early detection of precancerous and cancerous endometrial lesions especially in women over 40 years.

To highlight and correlate demographic and histopathological features of breast cancer along with prognostic and predictive biomarkers, in Saudi patients from the Eastern Province and compare it to a cohort of non-Saudi patients. ⋯ Although, the current findings might help future studies to identify variables that could lead to better management of breast cancer in this region; however, a wider investigation including other centers in the eastern province is needed.
