To evaluate the International Frontal Sinus Anatomy Classification (IFAC) reliability among Saudi board otorhinolaryngology senior residents. ⋯ The frontal sinus is not easy to treat surgically, and its inadequate treatment causes the failure of drainage, as in the case of chronic rhinosinusitis. Therefore, surgeons must fully understand the IFAC system to avoid major and minor complications.

To identify the knowledge gap and misconceptions about osteoarthritis (OA) and its risk factors among the general population of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. ⋯ The results of our study suggest a low level of knowledge regarding OA among Jeddah population. Many misconceptions regarding OA were identified, so more information be brought to the public.

One of the most significant problems facing maternal and children health worldwide is preterm birth (PTB). Although strategies to increase the survival of premature infants have significantly improved in the past few decades, they have yet to be successful. Nine years ago, the use of progesterone in pregnancy was approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for PTB prevention. ⋯ The guidelines address multiple current controversial areas regarding the prevention of PTB to aid physicians with their clinical decision-making practice, including the use in multifetal gestation, different formulations, safety in pregnancy, dose and route of administration. To estimate the prevalence of hypocalcemia following total thyroidectomy (TT) at a tertiary center. ⋯ There was a high prevalence of hypocalcemia on the second day after surgery. Presence of hypocalcemia association with the PTH level. Meticulous surgical technique and preservation of parathyroid vascularity are important in preventing postoperative hypocalcemia.

To address the gap in knowledge by providing data and analyses of the status of awareness among Saudi adults. ⋯ This study revealed that there is a lack of knowledge and awareness of the clinical features of and risk factors for HNCs among the Saudi population.
