Case ReportsMassive subchorionic hematoma associated with enoxaparin.
The use of low-molecular-weight heparins is increasing for the prevention of thromboembolism in pregnancy. Subchorionic hematoma as a complication of anticoagulation therapy is rarely reported. ⋯ Subchorionic hematoma is a potentially serious complication that can occur in pregnant patients receiving enoxaparin for the prevention of thromboembolism.

Case ReportsRemoval of pelvic leiomyomata and endometriosis five years after supracervical hysterectomy.
The number of laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomies performed has increased, yet the benefits and consequences are not well understood. ⋯ After a laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy, pelvic seeding of morcellated uterine tissue may lead to symptomatic pelvic leiomyomata and endometriosis requiring further surgery. Surgeons performing laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomies should take measures to prevent pelvic seeding at the time of morcellation and recognize the complication when it occurs.

To evaluate the five-year anatomic and functional outcomes of the high uterosacral vaginal vault suspension. ⋯ Uterosacral ligament vaginal vault fixation seems to be a durable procedure for vaginal repair of enterocele and vaginal vault prolapse. Lower urinary tract, bowel, and sexual function may be maintained or improved.

To estimate the impact of onset of stress urinary incontinence in first pregnancy or postpartum period, for the risk of symptoms 12 years after the first delivery. ⋯ Onset of stress urinary incontinence during first pregnancy or puerperal period carries an increased risk of long-lasting symptoms.
