[APPLICATION OF PHOTOSHOP CS16.0 SOFTWARE IN PREOPERATIVE OSTEOTOMY DESIGN OF ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS KYPHOSIS].
To introduce the application of Photoshop CS16.0 (PS) software in preoperative osteotomy design of ankylosing spondylitis kyphosis (ASK), and to investigate applied values of the preoperative design. ⋯ The preoperative osteotomy design by using PS software can precisely recover the spinal sagittal balance and horizontal angle of view, so it can effectively avoid excessive correction and insufficient correction of the deformity and obtain good effectiveness in treating ASK.

Comparative Study[COMPARISON OF CEMENTLESS TOTAL HIP ARTHROPLASTY BETWEEN WITH AND WITHOUT SUBTROCHANTERIC FEMORAL SHORTENING OSTEOTOMY IN Crowe TYPE IV DEVELOPMENTAL DYSPLASIA OF HIP].
To investigate the clinical characteristic differences of cementless total hip arthroplasty (THA) between with and without subtrochanteric femoral shortening osteostomy in Crowe type IV developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). ⋯ THA can improve joint function and increase limb length in the treatment of Crowe type IV DDH. Subtrochanteric shortening osteotomy is an effective treatment which can be performed according to preoperative template measurement, leg length shortening, and the soft tissue tension.

[AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON REPAIR OF SCIATIC NERVE INJURY BY Schwann-LIKE CELLS DERIVED FROM UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS].
To evaluate the effect of using Schwann-like cells derived from human umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cells (hUCBMSCs) as the seed cells to repair large sciatic nerve defect in rats so as to provide the experimental evidence for clinical application of hUCBMSCs. ⋯ Tissue engineered nerves from hUCBMSCs-derived Schwann-like cells can effectively repair large defects of the sciatic nerve. hUCBMSCs-derived Schwann-like cells can be used as a source of seed cells in nerve tissue engineering.

Randomized Controlled Trial[BIOMECHANICS STUDY ON THREE-DIMENSIONAL EXTERNAL FIXATOR FOR OSTEOPOROTIC FRACTURE].
To explore the mechanical stability of the three-dimensional (3-D) external fixator for osteoporotic fracture so as to provide the biomechanical basis for clinical application. ⋯ The 3-D external fixator can fix fracture three-dimensionally from multiple plane and it can offer strong fixing. It is biomechanically demonstrated to be suitable for osteoporotic fracture.
