[Effect of prone position ventilation on respiratory mechanics and prognosis in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome concurrent with interstitial lung disease].
To explore the effect of prone position ventilation (PPV) on respiratory mechanics and prognosis in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) concurrent with interstitial lung disease (ILD). ⋯ PPV can improve oxygenation in severe ARDS. Compared with non-ILD group, though the compliance of respiratory system in ILD group is increased during PPV, long-term effect is better in non-ILD group.

Case Reports[The therapeutic effect of high flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy for the first imported case of Middle East respiratory syndrome to China].
To investigate the value of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) in treating a patient with Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). ⋯ HFNC could improve respiratory function of the patient with MERS obviously, and complication ARDS was prevented. HFNC might reduce nosocomial spread.

[Reproduction of a model of "two-hit" sepsis model with complication of pneumonia in rat].
To reproduce a clinically relevant "two-hit" model of sepsis complicated by pneumonia and to explore the correlation between "two-hit" and immune state. ⋯ The mortality of this "two-hit" model with complication of pneumonia 4 days after CLP was significantly higher than that of single sepsis model. The ability of bacteria clearance was decreased, and immunocyte apoptosis was exacerbated. These findings may be with the result of the occurrence of immunoparalysis in the mid stage of sepsis. The "two-hit" model reproduced on 7 days after CLP might suggest reconstruction of host immune function, and maybe associated with the recovery of immune response.

[Role and mechanism of the NOD-like receptor 3 inflammasome in ventilator-induced lung injury in rats].
To investigate the role and its mechanism of the NOD-like receptor 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome in alveolar macrophages in ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI) in rats. ⋯ NLRP3 inflammasome in alveolar macrophages may be involved in the mechanism of occurrence of VILI.
