Meta Analysis[Effect of terlipressin on prognosis of adult septic shock patients: a Meta-analysis].
To investigate the effect of terlipressin on prognosis of adult septic shock patients. ⋯ The available evidence suggests that terlipressin could not significantly improve mortality in adult's septic shock patients, but it may reduce the incidence of renal complications. A tendency to increase the incidence of limb peripheral ischemic events in the terlipressin-treated group needs to be emphasized.

[Clinical study on optimal switching mode in sequential noninvasive-invasive mechanical ventilation for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease].
To explore the switch time of noninvasive-invasive mechanical ventilation sequential treatment for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD), and effectively reduce the rate of tracheal intubation. ⋯ If patients with AECOPD have relative contraindications of NIV but still insist on using NIV, further risk stratification of NIV failure is needed. For those with RI, pH value, WBC abnormalities and sputum excretion drainage, the risk of choosing NIV is significantly increased. We need to pay more attention to the change of the condition and switch to IPPV in time to avoid exacerbation of the condition.

[Study on the optimization of administration regimen of vancomycin in critical patients].
To observe the changing characteristics of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) parameters of vancomycin in critical patients under different drug regimens and to further explore the influencing factors. ⋯ At the same daily dose, Cmin can be increased and Cmax can be decreased by increasing the frequency of vancomycin administration, thus minimize the fluctuation of vancomycin serum concentration, but AUC0-24 h/MIC is not affected. Vancomycin administration regimen in severe patients should be optimized according to CCr, CLvancomycin and age.

Meta Analysis[Effect of positive end-expiratory pressure on the incidence of acute respiratory distress syndrome in non-acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome patients in ICU: a Meta-analysis].
To systematically review the therapeutic effect of continuous high positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) ventilation in patients with non-acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (non-ALI/ARDS) under general anesthesia mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ In the treatment of patients in ICU with non-ALI/ARDS under general anesthesia mechanical ventilation, using relatively high levels of PEEP (10-16 cmH2O, 1 cmH2O = 0.098 kPa) instead of low levels of PEEP (≤ 8 cmH2O) can significantly increase the partial oxygen pressure and significantly reduce the incidences of ARDS and lung infection.

Multicenter Study Observational Study[Diagnostic value of the Sepsis-3 standard for patients with sepsis: a multi-center prospective, observational clinical study].
To explore the value of Sepsis-3 standard in diagnosis of patients with sepsis. ⋯ The Sepsis-3 standard is superior to the Sepsis-1 standard in the diagnosis and prediction of 28-day mortality in patients with sepsis. qSOFA can be used as an early tool for rapid screening of patients with high-risk sepsis in the ICU bedside.
