[Efficacy and safety of stress ulcer prophylaxis in septic patients: a retrospective cohort study based on large database].
To evaluate the effects and safety of stress ulcer prophylaxis (SUP) versus no prophylaxis in adult septic patients at risk of gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB). ⋯ Among critically ill adult patients with sepsis at risk for GIB, SUP showed no effect on reducing in-hospital mortality, the rate of GIB and CDI, but was associated with increased risk of secondary pneumonia and prolonged LOS.

[Predictive value of heparin binding protein for sepsis].
To investigate the predictive value of heparin binding protein (HBP) for sepsis. ⋯ HBP can be used as a biological indicator for predicting sepsis and can assess the severity of organ failure in septic patients.

[Risk factors and their predictive value for intensive care unit acquired weakness in patients with sepsis].
To explore the risk factors of intensive care unit acquired weakness (ICUAW) in patients with sepsis, and to evaluate the predictive value of each risk factor for ICUAW. ⋯ APACHE II score and average SOFA score can be used as independent risk factors for the occurrence of ICUAW in sepsis, and their combined predictive value is better than that of individual index.

[Value of combined detection of biomarkers in early diagnosis and prognosis of patients with septic myocardial injury].
To investigate the value of combined detection of biomarkers in early diagnosis and prognosis of patients with septic myocardial injury. ⋯ H-FABP plays an important role in the early diagnosis and prognosis of septic myocardial injury. Early combined detection of NT-proBNP, CK-MB and H-FABP can significantly improve the diagnostic ability of septic myocardial injury, and NT-proBNP and cTnI combined with H-FABP can significantly improve the ability to predict the adverse prognosis of sepsis myocardial injury.

[Safety of administration of norepinephrine through peripheral vein line in patients with septic shock].
To analysis the risk factors and safety of administration of norepinephrine (NE) via peripheral vein line (PVL) in patients with septic shock. ⋯ Hypertension, edema, long-term infusion (> 24 hours), infusion concentration > 60 mg/L, infusion speed > 0.3 μg×kg-1×min-1, diameter of needle < 20 G, and lack of observation and evaluation by medical staff regularly were risk factors affecting the safety of peripheral intravenous NE in patients with septic shock. Peripheral NE should be avoided in the presence of the above risk factors.
