[Retrospective analysis of serum C-reactive protein/albumin ratio for the prognosis of the adult patients with sepsis].
To explore the prognostic value of serum C-reactive protein/albumin (CRP/ALB) ratio in the adult patients with sepsis. ⋯ High serum CRP,CRP/ALB and low ALB in adult patients with sepsis indicate a poor prognosis, while the prognostic value of CRP/ALB is obviously better than the single value of CRP or ALB.CRP/ALB at 72 hours may be one of the best indicators for the assessment of clinical therapy and prognosis of patients with sepsis.

Meta Analysis[Efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulin in the adjuvant treatment of patients with severe sepsis: a Meta analysis].
To investigate the possibility of improving the prognosis of patients with severe sepsis by different kinds of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG). ⋯ IVIG can reduce the total mortality rate of patients with severe sepsis. Compared with IgG, IgM-enriched IVIG has certain advantages in patients with severe sepsis, but cannot reduce the short-term mortality rate, mortality rate of septic shock and MOF, and also cannot shorten the length of ICU stay and the total length of hospital day.

[Application of thromboelastogram in reasonable transfusion for hospitalixed patients with critically illness].
To discuss the application value of thromboelastogram (TEG) in reasonable use of blood in critical patients. ⋯ There was significant correlation between TEG parameters and indicators of conventional coagulation test, but either of them has advantage over the other, and cannot be replaced. TEG can be used to guide reasonable transfusion for critical patients, though other clinical and laboratory tests should be combined.

[Cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway involves in the neuroprotective effect of huperzine A on sepsis-associated encephalopathy].
To explore whether the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway is involved in the neuroprotective effect of acetylcholinesterase inhibitor huperzine A (HupA) on sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) by observing the effect of HupA on the expressions of choline acetyltransferase (CHAT) and cholinergic muscarinic receptor M1 (CHRM1) of sepsis rats. ⋯ The cortical cholinergic neurons dysfunction and the abnormal inflammatory response are involved in the onset of SAE process. HupA plays a protective role in SAE through recovering the function of cholinergic neurons and cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway.

[Role of Rho/ROCK signaling pathway in the protective effects of hydrogen against acute lung injury in septic mice].
To investigate the role of Rho/ROCK signaling pathway in the protective effects of hydrogen gas (H2) on acute lung injury (ALI) in a mouse model of sepsis. ⋯ H2 could improve endothelial permeability and suppress inflammation and oxidative stress to alleviate ALI in septic mice through inhibition of Rho/ROCK signaling pathway.
