Review[In the United Kingdom, volunteer caregivers to reinforce COVID vaccination teams].
The United Kingdom, like many countries, is strongly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The vaccination campaign was launched last December. Ghislaine Young, a nurse, and Jim Hodgson, a general practitioner, both retired, are offering their services as vaccinators to help fight this epidemic. By the end of Febuary 2021, more than 20 million people had already been vaccinated.

South Africa is the sub-Saharan African country most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Health professionals, particularly nurses, are strongly mobilised to fight the epidemic and care for the sick. In addition to their conditions and overwork, many health care workers are infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, which causes illness and death. With the threat of a second epidemic wave, this complicated health situation could deteriorate further.

Some people howeverfear tthat they may be possible contamination agents.

The AAPML is a French association offering support for health professionals and private practice doctors suffering from stress via a helpline. It provides information and training for health professionals and takes into account their engagement in the workplace.

The collaboration of the assessment and prevention geriatrician-nurse partnership, combined with the skills of the advanced practice nurse in gerontology, helps to instil a culture of frailty prevention in the teams and create adapted care pathways.
