  Efficacy and safety of antazoline for cardioversion of atrial fibrillation: propensity score matching analysis of multicenter registry (CANT II Study).

  Due to safety concerns about available antiarrhythmic drugs (AADs), reliable agents for termination of atrial fibrillation (AF) are requisite. ⋯ Antazoline appears to be an efficacious agent for termination of AF in real‑world setting. Randomized controlled trials are required to evaluate its safety in specific patient populations.

  Post-COVID-19 complications in hospitalized and non-hospitalized patients: the Silesian complications of the COVID-19 (SILCOV-19) database.

  Due to the extent of the pandemic, high prevalence and severity of complications in the early post‑recovery period are expected. ⋯ The abnormal platelet parameters, functional and radiological findings in the lungs, and insomnia were the most frequent short‑term COVID‑19 complications in hospitalized and nonhospitalized patients. Considering the number of patients who have had COVID‑19 worldwide, a high burden of the post-COVID‑19 complications might be expected.
