Multicenter Study Clinical Trial
Efficacy of computer-aided detection as a second reader for 6-9-mm lesions at CT colonography: multicenter prospective trial.
To assess the effect of computer-aided detection (CAD) as a second reader on the sensitivity and specificity of computed tomographic (CT) colonography in detecting 6-9-mm colorectal cancer (CRC) lesions. ⋯ http://radiology.rsna.org/lookup/suppl/doi:10.1148/radiol.12120376/-/DC1.

To characterize changes in the magnetic resonance (MR) relaxation properties of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and tissue from neurologically normal brains by using high-resolution (21.1-T, 900-MHz) MR microscopy of postmortem human midbrain and basal ganglia. ⋯ High-field-strength MR microscopy yielded pronounced differences in substantia nigra and globus pallidus of PSP compared with control brains. Histologic data also suggested that the predominant iron in PSP is hemosiderin, not ferritin. Iron in the brain is a contrast enhancer and potential biomarker for PSP.

To determine whether chronic pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP) elevation affects regional biventricular function and whether regional myocardial function may be reduced in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients with preserved global right ventricular (RV) function. ⋯ http://radiology.rsna.org/lookup/suppl/doi:10.1148/radiol.12111599/-/DC1.

To retrospectively compare transition zone (TZ) cancer detection and localization accuracy of 3-T T2-weighted magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with that of multiparametric (MP) MR imaging, with radical prostatectomy specimens as the reference standard. ⋯ http://radiology.rsna.org/lookup/suppl/doi:10.1148/radiol.12120281/-/DC1.

To determine the frequency of complications and death following image-guided and/or image-assisted liver biopsy and to identify significant variables associated with an increased risk of complications or death. ⋯ http://radiology.rsna.org/lookup/suppl/doi:10.1148/radiol.12120224/-/DC1.
