[Effects of Ginkgo biloba extract against excitotoxicity induced by NMDA receptors and mechanism thereof].
To observe the effects of Ginkgo biloba extract (GBE) on N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) excitotoxicity and focal cerebral ischemia, and further explore the neuroprotective mechanisms of GBE. ⋯ GBE pretreatment protects the neurons from excitotoxicity induced by over-activated NMDA receptor and focal cerebral ischemia, which can be explained by the mild blocking effect of GBE on NMDA receptor with low affinity, comparing with MK-801, and GBE is expected to interfere in excitotoxicity in clinic without neurotoxic behaviors.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study[A comparison of T3 sympathectomy versus T4 sympathectomy in the treatment of primary palmer hyperhidrosis].
To evaluate the effect and side effect of T(3) versus T(4) sympathectomy in the surgical management of primary palmar hyperhidrosis through prospective multi-center randomized controlled trial. ⋯ The procedure of T(3) or T(4) sympathectomy, both transecting the sympathetic chain in one single position in relatively lower segment, are comparatively effective in the treatment of primary palmar hyperhidrosis, but T(4) sympathectomy shows less side effect.

[Awareness with recall during general anesthesia: analysis of 2015 cases].
To investigate the incidence of awareness with recall during general anesthesia in elective operation with modern anesthetic methods and to analyze the risk factors thereof. ⋯ Awareness occurs in some patients undergoing elective operation. Being female, use of LMA, not using volatile anesthetics at a time or continuously during maintenance of anesthesia, and intra-operative blood pressure fluctuation are risk factors. Premedication may help prevent awareness during operation.
