[Long-term follow-up of elderly patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis treated by percutaneous transluminal angioplasty with stent implantation].
To evaluate the long-term effects of percutaneous transluminal renal angioplasty with stent (PTRAS) on hypertension and renal function in elderly patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis (ARAS). ⋯ PTRAS is beneficial in the control of blood pressure in elderly ARAS patients within 36 months after operation. The post-PTRAS improvement of renal function in elderly patients is limited.

[Value of metastatic lymph node ratio in predicting the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer patients].
To investigate the relationship between the metastatic lymph node ratio (LNR) and the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ LNR may be used to accurately predict the prognosis, guide the treatment of NSCLC and improve its staging.

Clinical Trial[Effect of continuous renal replacement therapy started at different time on patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome].
To explore the effects of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) on serum cytokines and prognosis in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) patients based on different therapeutic opportunities. ⋯ Regulating the ratio of anti-inflammatory/pro-inflammatory mediators is critical in the immunomodulation of CRRT. And CRRT may provide more clinical benefits in the early phase (0 - 3 days) of MODS.

[Effects of gabapentin on high-voltage-activated calcium current in dorsal root ganglion neurons in rats].
To compare the effects of gabapentin on high-voltage-activated calcium (HVA) current in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in normal and nerve-injured rats and understand the reasons of their differences. ⋯ Gabapentin enhances the inhibition of HVA-Ca(2+) current in injured DRG neurons following spinal nerve ligation in rats. The alteration in the activation of electrophysiological properties and the increase of N-type relative contribution to the total HVA-Ca(2+) current may be involved in the mechanism.

Comparative Study[Comparative analysis of modified Dewar method versus arthroscopic double Endobutton fixation technique for the treatment of acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation].
To compare the clinical outcomes of modified Dewar method versus arthroscopic double Endobutton fixation technique for the treatment of acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Rockwood types III-V). ⋯ Both modified Dewar method and arthroscopic double Endobutton fixation technique are both efficient therapies for acute acromioclavicular dislocation (Rockwood types III-V). The former tends to be more invasive while the latter can better maintain the relationship of coracoid process and clavicle.
