[Proliferation of CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells of rat by different cytokines in vitro].
To evaluate the effects of cytokines on the proliferation and function of CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cell (Treg). ⋯ IL-2, IL-4, and IL-15 in the in vitro culture of Treg stimulate the Treg proliferation, reduce their apoptosis, and maintain their suppressive function. The proliferated Tregs still maintain their phenotype, highly expressing Foxp3.

[Changes of somatosensory and transcranial magnetic stimulation motor evoked potentials in experimental spinal cord injury].
To study the changes of somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) and transcranial magnetic simulation motor evoked potential (TMS-MEP) in experimental spinal cord injury (SCI). ⋯ SEP and TMS-MEP are very sensitive to SCI, in particular, the change of amplitude is more sensitive then the latency change and can more accurately reflect the degree of SCI. Combination of SEP and TMS-MEP objectively reflects the SCI degree. EP measurement, as a noninvasive technique, has great value in monitoring spinal cord function.

[Effects of N-acetylcysteine on mRNA expression of monocyte chemotactic protein and macrophage inflammatory protein 2 in acute necrotizing pancreatitis: experiment with rats].
To explore the potential role of monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1) and macrophage inflammatory protein 2 (MIP-2) in the pathogenesis of acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP), and to study the effect of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) on the mRNA expression of MCP-1 and MIP-2. ⋯ The chemokines of MCP-1 and MIP-2 are overexpressed at the early stage of acute pancreatitis. Both of them may play an important role in the pathogenesis of AP. NAC may have beneficial effects on AP through downregulation of the expression of MCP-1 and MIP-2.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of bilateral intercostal nerve protection on post-thoracotomy pain relief: a prospective single-blinded randomized study].
To study the efficacy of bilateral intercostal nerve protection on pain relief after thoracotomy. ⋯ Protection of bilateral intercostal nerves around the incision contributes to significant pain relief after operation without increase of the morbidity of complications.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of epidural clonidine pretreatment in epidural patient-controlled analgesia using sufentanil combined with levobupivacaine].
To investigate the clinical effects of epidural clonidine pretreatment in epidural patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) using sufentanil combined with levobupivacaine. ⋯ Epidural clonidine 2-4 microg/kg pretreatment improves the clinical effects of epidural PCA using sufentanil combined with levobupivacaine.
