[Protective effects of ketamine on allergen-induced airway inflammatory injure and high airway reactivity in asthma: experiment with rats].
To observe the effects of ketamine on bronchial hyperresponsiveness and airway inflammation in equal asthma. ⋯ Both inhalation and systemic administration of ketamine attenuate inflammatory the lung injury and airway hyperreactivity of the OVA-induced asthma model. The protective effects of ketamine is achieved by inhibiting OVA-provoked over-expression of mRNA and protein of iNOS and reducing the production of NO in pulmonary tissues.

Meta Analysis[Effect of long-term continuous positive airway pressure ventilation on blood pressure in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome: a meta-analysis of clinical trials].
To explore whether long-term continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) ventilation is effective to decrease the blood pressure in the patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) accompanied with hypertension. ⋯ The long-term CPAP ventilation can decrease the 24 h DBP.

Comparative Study Clinical Trial[Effects of different anesthetic methods and anesthetic drugs on stress reaction during surgical operation].
To investigate the effect of four different anesthetic methods (combined epidural with general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation or with laryngeal mask airway, total intravenous anesthesia or remifentanil intravenous infusion combined with inhalational anesthesia) on stress reaction in patients undergoing upper abdominal surgery. ⋯ Different anesthetic methods and anesthetic drugs had different effects on stress reaction (hormones) during surgical operation. Regardless of general anesthesia or intrathecal anesthesia, harmful stimulus could not be completely blocked by the intraoperative management and stress regulation during operation. Intrathecal anesthesia combined with general anesthesia could inhibit the stress reaction during upper abdominal surgery. Continuous remifentanil target controlled infusion could inhibit the degree of stress reaction, either.

[Magnifying effect of conduit bridging in number of nerve fibers of broken peripheral nerves: experiment with rats].
To observe the magnifying effect of conduit bridging in number of nerve fibers of broken peripheral nerves. ⋯ The axon number distal to the transaction site becomes significantly more than that at the proximal end after bridging. The magnification effect of the bridging of homologous nerve is greater than that of non-homologous nerve. It is possible to repair the thicker nerve at the distal broken end with thinner nerve at the proximal end clinically.
