To study the anatomicopathological relation between facial nerve and large vestibular schwannoma. ⋯ The facial nerve varies greatly in neuroanatomy among patients with large vestibular schwannoma. Strengthening of operative monitoring can increase the safety of operation.

To investigate the analgesic effect of celiac plexus block with anhydrous alcohol in patients suffering form advanced abdominal malignancies. ⋯ Neurolytic celiac plexus block guided by ultrasonography is a safe and effective modality in the management of intractable pain resulted from advanced abdominal malignancies.

[Mechanical ventilation therapy for aged patients with severe acute left heart failure combined with respiratory failure].
To sum up the clinical experience of mechanical ventilation in treatment of aged patients with severe left heart failure (ALVF) combined with acute respiratory failure (ARF). ⋯ Mechanical ventilation is conducted with more difficulty and higher risk for aged patients with severe ALVF. However, while operated appropriately, it will be effective.

Comparative Study[High frequency oscillatory ventilation with perfluorocarbon in rabbits with acute lung injury].
To investigate the efficacy of high frequency oscillation with perfluorocarbon (PFC) in rabbits with acute lung injury (ALI). ⋯ In rabbits with ALI, CMV + PFC could induce a significant improvement in gas exchange and Cdyn. HFO + PFC leads more rapidmy to reach best gas exchange and Cdyn.
