In aqueous solutions dithylinum decomposes with formation iodine, choline, succinic acid and its monoether. The rate of decomposition depends on the conditions of storage, and also upon the concentration and ion force of solution, existence of ion metals and some other factors. The article proposes methods for identification and quantitative analysis of dithylinum and the products of its hydrolysis. The requirements imposed for storage or transportation of dithylinum solutions: not frost and temperature level not higher than 5 degrees C.

The article makes a detailed analysis concerning the results of treatment of minimally wounded who were stationed at the separate medical battalion. All the wounded were returned to the ranks in first 55 days from the moment of wounding, and after being examined by the Main Medical Commission. ⋯ The authors make a conclusion that the possible increase of these terms could return the wounded to their duties without further evacuation to the other medical establishments. There are indications for primary surgical management of gunshot wounds and for further evacuation of this category of wounded from separate medical battalion.

ENT injuries totaled up to 1.4% from all other wounds. As for localization of wounds the most frequent were neck injuries (53%). Wounds of nose or accessory sinus of nose comprised 45.6%, and ear wounds--1.4%, 5.8% of wounded needed emergency care, 45.8%--secondary surgical care, and 48.4%--tertiary surgical care. The article analyses the errors of medical care, and gives the classification of ENT injuries.

[The diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and circulatory disorders in the acute period of gunshot chest wounds].
Principle and method for gravity estimation of wounds, as well as the efficiency index of treatment of breathing and circulatory disorders in patients with chest gunshot injuries were elaborated on the basis of integral body rheography with mathematical modelling. The application of this method gives the possibility to make an opportune estimation and prognostication of the gravity of clinic outcome of chest gunshot injuries, choose the most rational scheme of treatment of breathing and circulatory disorders. The application of integral body rheography increases the quality of secondary surgical care at the phases of medical evacuation.
