Academic learning about public health in a Canadian university: contributions for Brazilian education.
This paper aims to discuss Brazilian undergraduate students'learning in the public health. ⋯ Public health learning in a Canadian university highlighted a great focus on determinants, allowing the students to think about Brazilian health care models. With this experience, discussions can be held in educational spaces, reflecting the social implication of Science without Borders Program in professional education.

To identify the degree of satisfaction with nursing care, the significant variables and contribute to the evolution of the scale. ⋯ Satisfaction was high, influenced by structural variables of users, nurses and working conditions. The scale has proved suitable for assessment in this population.

Rural women and violence situation: access and accessibility limits to the healthcare network.
To analyze the access and accessibility to the healthcare network of women dwelling in rural contexts undergoing violence situation, as seen from the professionals' speeches. ⋯ To bring closer the services which integrate the confrontation network of violence against women and to qualify professionals to welcome these situations are factors that can facilitate the access and adhesion of rural women to the services.

Evaluate adherence to the checklist of the Programa Cirurgias Seguras (safe surgery programme) at a teaching hospital. ⋯ The results showed that the items on the checklist were verified nonverbally and there was no significant adherence to the instrument.

To present an overview of the clusters of neuropsychological symptoms in children and adolescents with cancer from the perspective of the Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms. ⋯ It is essential to update knowledge on this subject and discuss the theories that support research and the clinical practice of symptom management in order to better qualify nursing care.
