To investigate the expression of apoptosis-related proteins Fas and FasL in the brain tissue of rats with traumatic brain injury and the effect of electroacupuncture on the expression of Fas and FasL, so as to explore the effective time window of electroacupuncture in the treatment of traumatic brain injury. ⋯ Early electroacupuncture intervention can regulate the apoptosis receptor pathway by down-regulating Fas and FasL to exert a therapeutic effect on traumatic brain injury and help with the recovery of cognition and memory ability after traumatic brain injury.

[Comparision of therapertic effect of different acupuncture methods for knee osteoarthritis].
To compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncture, electroacupuncture (EA) and moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA). ⋯ All the three different kinds of acupuncture and moxibustion methods have positively regulatory effect on KOA, and moxibustion is the best for reducing the joint pain and stiffness, and improving the motor function.

To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on the expression of phosphorylated adenosine 5'-monophosphate-activated protein kinase(p-AMPK), phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin(p-mTOR) and phosphorylated Ulk1(p-Ulk1) proteins in the cortex of traumatic brain injury (TBI) rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying treatment of TBI. ⋯ Electroacupuncture may inhibit the over-activation of autophagy of cranial neurons by regulating the activation of AMPK, mTOR and Ulk1, thus exerting brain protection effect on TBI rats, and early electroacupuncture intervention is more effective in acute phase of TBI.

[Clinical effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis: a randomized controlled trial].
To investigate the clinical effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture has a better, more durable clinical effect and fewer adverse reactions than the drugs in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis.

To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture stimulation at "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Kunlun"(BL60) on the morphological changes of the spinal dorsal horn and the expression of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38MAPK) in the injured spinal cord of rats with neuropathic pain. ⋯ Electroacupuncture stimulation at ST36 and BL60 can increase pain threshold, improve the motor function of the affected hindlimb, and improve the necrosis of neurofibrils in the spinal dorsal horn in rats with neuropathic pain, possibly by regulating the expression of p-p38MAPK in the spinal dorsal horn.
