[Effect of subanaesthetic dose of ketamine on mechanical stimulus on brain regions].
To investigate the effect of subanaesthetic dose of ketamine on mechanical stimulus on brain regions. ⋯ Ketamine 100 ng/ml exerts its effect on pain related brain regions. It can both activate and inhibit these brain regions, with the activating effect being the primary effect.

[Airway management and anesthesia for tracheal masses in 15 patients].
To summarize our experiences in anesthetic management for the resection of tracheal masses. ⋯ The successful airway management of tracheal masses depends on the degree and location of stenosis and the severity of dyspnea. Extracorporeal circulation is an optimal choice for those with critical airway occlusion and adequate oxygenation can not be accomplished with conventional anesthesia.

[Reduction of gray and white matters in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy and its correlation with disease duration].
To measure the volumetric changes of gray and white matters in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE)using voxel-based morphometric study(VBM)and correlate the changes with clinical parameters. ⋯ TLE patients have diffuse gray matter and white matter reduction,particularly in the early stage of epilepsy. The reduction of the white matter is more obvious than the gray matter.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Roles of Cookgas and Fastrach intubating laryngeal mask airway for anticipated difficult tracheal intubation].
To compare the clinical effectiveness of blind intubation through the Cookgas intubating laryngeal airway(CILA) or Fastrach intubating laryngeal mask airway(FT-LMA) for anticipated difficult tracheal intubation. ⋯ Blind intubation via CILA or FT-LMA is safe and effective for anticipated difficult tracheal intubation. Nevertheless, CILA is easier to be inserted, with relatively higher success rate of blind intubation.
