Randomized Controlled Trial
[Effects of Tongmai decoction on the perioperative changes of plasma TNF-alpha and IL-6 in patients with femoral fractures].
To explore the effects of Tongmai decoction on the perioperative changes of serum concentrations of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin (IL)-6 in patients with femoral fractures, and conform the effectiveness of Tongmai decoction on inflammatory factors in patients with femoral fractures, providing the theoretical evidence for the clinical use of Tongmai decoction. ⋯ The serum concentrations of TNF-alpha and IL-6 level significantly increased in perioperative period. The results indicate that the Tongmai decoction may play an important role in inhibiting the release of TNF-alpha and IL-6 into the blood stream and decreasing the incunabula complication at early traumatic stage.

To investigate the long-term results of modified Jaslow technique to treat isthmic spondylolisthesis. ⋯ The modified Jaslow technique is suitable for isthmic spondylolisthesis (Meyerding I - III), which has advantage of sufficient decompression, solid fixation and can obtain satisfactory clinical results with long-term follow-up.

Clinical Trial
[Clinical study of short-course chemotherapy combined with radical operation in retreating spinal tuberculosis].
To investigate clinical outcome of short-course chemotherapy in retreating spinal tuberculosis after radical operation. ⋯ Removed tubercular focus for the treatment of retreating spinal tuberculosis can improve clinical effect and shorten chemotherapy course.

To explore the differences between conservative and surgical treatment for thoracic and lumbar spine tuberculosis on indications and clinical results. ⋯ Patients with early detection only on the imaging showing vertebral lesions, without obvious sequestrum, abscesses, can be selected for conservative anti-tuberculosis treatment. Patients combined with abscess, vertebral destruction on light degree and not affected the stability of the spine, can be removed by simple surgery to obtain better efficacy. Patients with abscesses, sequestrum, spinal vertebral instability leading to heavy damage associated with spinal cord or nerve function impairment, will need surgical removal of lesions of tuberculosis, give graft and spinal fixation at the same time.

To explore the clinical effects of minimally invasive internal fixation in the treatment of unstable pelvic fractures. ⋯ Treatment of unstable pelvic fractures with minimally invasive internal fixation had advantages of minimal trauma, less bleeding, less postoperative complications, high bone union rate, reliable fixation and satisfactorily functional recovery after operation, but the method demanded skillful surgical techniques.
