To investigate the short-term clinical effect of direct anterior approach (DAA) in total hip arthroplasty(THA). ⋯ The primary THA with DAA in lateral position has a good short;term clinical effect, can meet the needs of patients' rapid recovery, and is a safe and effective surgical approach.

To explore the clinical efficacy of C3 expanded half lamina excision combined with unilateral open door laminoplasty for multiple segmental cervical spinal cord compression syndrome. ⋯ C3 expanded half lamina excision combined with unilateral open-door laminoplasty is an effective method to treat multiple segmental cervical spinal cord compression syndrome, for it can not only fully relieved spinal cord compression, but also achievedgood effect in preventing complications such as axial symptoms by reducing stripping of muscles from C2 spinous process.

To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of high-quality direct anterior approach (DAA) and other approaches for the treatment of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture. ⋯ The current evidenceindicates that the DAA was associated with a significantly lower dislocation rate compared to posterior capsular approaches for hemiarthroplasty. There was no significant difference in dislocation rate with the lateral and anterolateral approach.

The distal radioulnar joint is not only the main load-bearing joint in the wrist, but also the pivot of the rotation of the forearm. It is one of the most important and unique joints in the body. Maintaining the stability of the distal radioulnar joint is very important for our daily life. ⋯ By reviewing the relevant literatures, this article divides the bone structural abnormalities into congenital and acquired bone structural abnormalities. The effects of congenital and acquiredbone structural abnormalities on the distal radioulnar joint stability are analysized and collated in this article, and its clinical symptoms, clinical grading, clinical treatments are also summerized. The problems of distal radioulnar joint instability in clinical practicing and its future researching directions are briefly described in order to provide some suggestions for future clinical applications.
