Association of Physical Activity With Primary Cardiac Arrest Risk in the General Population: A Nationwide Cohort Study of the Dose-Response Relationship.
To quantify the dose-response relationship between moderate to vigorous physical activity and primary cardiac arrest (PCA). ⋯ The beneficial effect of physical activity on PCA started at two-thirds of the recommended minimum and continued to 5 times the recommended minimum. No excess risk for PCA was present among individuals with activity levels more than 5 times the recommended minimum regardless of cardiovascular disease or lifestyle risk factor presence.

Proton Pump Inhibitors and In-Hospital Gastrointestinal Bleeding in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome Receiving Dual Antiplatelet Therapy.
To evaluate the association between proton pump inhibitor (PPI) use and in-hospital gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) taking dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT). ⋯ In China, PPIs are widely used within 24 hours of admission in patients with ACS taking DAPT. An increased risk of GI bleeding is observed in inpatients with early PPI use. Randomized trials on early use of PPIs in patients with ACS receiving DAPT are warranted.

Artificial Intelligence Application in Graves Disease: Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure and Menstrual Changes.
To study the utility of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled electrocardiograms (ECGs) in patients with Graves disease (GD) in identifying patients at high risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) and heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), and to study whether AI-ECG can reflect hormonal changes and the resulting menstrual changes in GD. ⋯ AI-enabled ECG identifies patients at risk for GD-related AF and HFrEF and was associated with menstrual changes in women with GD.

Physician Identification Badges: A Multispecialty Quality Improvement Study to Address Professional Misidentification and Bias.
To evaluate whether providing resident physicians with "DOCTOR" role identification badges would impact perceptions of bias in the workforce and alter misidentification rates. ⋯ Residents reported decreased role misidentification after use of a role identification badge, most prominently improved among women. Decreasing workplace bias is essential in efforts to improve both diversity and inclusion efforts in training programs.

Identification of Natural SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Seroprevalence Studies Among Vaccinated Populations.
Most SARS-CoV-2 antibody assays cannot distinguish between antibodies that developed after natural infection and those that developed after vaccination. We assessed the accuracy of a nucleocapsid-containing assay in identifying natural infection among vaccinated individuals. A longitudinal cohort composed of health care workers in the Minneapolis/St. ⋯ Among all participants, nucleocapsid response predicted recent infection with an area under the curve of 0.93 (95% CI, 0.88 to 0.99). Among individuals vaccinated more than 10 days before antibody testing, the specificity of the nucleocapsid-containing assay was 92%, whereas the specificity of the spike-only assay was 0%. An IgG assay identifying reactivity to nucleocapsid protein is an accurate predictor of natural infection among a partially vaccinated population, whereas a spike-only assay performed poorly.
