Comparative Study[Limb salvage and amputation in osteosarcoma: report of 31 cases].
Three different types of operation were performed in 31 osteosarcoma patients, and some cases received chemotherapy. It revealed, wide resection of tumor supplemented with chemotherapy improved the survival and limb salvage rate enormously. ⋯ The life of prosthesis was long and most patients were satisfied with it. Chemotherapy and limb salvage can enhance the survival and life quality in patients with osteosarcoma.
