Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Patella reshaping versus resurfacing in total knee arthroplasty: a prospective randomized study].
To investigate the differences in the clinical outcome of total knee arthroplasty according to patellar reshaping or resurfacing. ⋯ It has shown that total knee arthroplasty with patella reshaping or resurfacing dramatically relieves pain and improves the function. It seems that postoperative anterior knee pain is related either to the component design or to the details of the surgical technique, rather than to whether or not the patella is resurfaced.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Impact of intensive insulin therapy on surgical critically ill patients].
To evaluating the effect of different levels of blood glucose control on inflammatory response and prognosis of the patients in surgical intensive care unit (SICU). ⋯ To maintain blood glucose in normal range with intensive insulin therapy has potential positive impact on SICU patients' outcome and can reduce days in ICU and ICU cost. Further correlation research is needed to determine the best levels of blood glucose in ICU patients.
