[Analysis of surgical treatment for Standford type A aortic dissection].
To summarize the surgical experience of type A aortic dissection. ⋯ Standford type A aortic dissection should be operated aggressively. Expected outcome could be acquired with optimum modus operandi, proper cerebral protection and dealing with postoperative complication timely.

[A model of lumbar disc degeneration on the early stage in rhesus monkey with minimally invasive technique].
To establish a novel model of lumbar disc degeneration on the early stage in the rhesus monkey using percutaneous needle puncture guided by CT. ⋯ The degeneration of lumbar intervertebral disc on the early stage could be induced by the percutaneous needle puncture (20G) to the annulus fibrosus. The assessment of disc degeneration on early stage is not shown on MRI and only confirmed by histological examination.

[Change in T cell-mediated immunity and its relationship with high mobility group box-1 protein levels in extensively burned patients].
To investigate the change in T cell-mediated immunity and its relationship with plasma high mobility group box-1 protein (HMGB1) levels in severely burned patients. ⋯ Extensive burns could lead to T cellular immune dysfunction, which appears to be associated with the development of MODS. HMGB1, as an important late mediators of inflammation, might be involved in the pathogenesis of suppression of T cell-mediated immunity in these patients.

[An experimental study on outcome of ipsilateral C7 nerve root transfer to repair the root avulsion of the brachial plexus].
To experimentally compare the treatment outcome of the injured upper limb of the root avulsion of C5 and C6 of the brachial plexus repaired by ipsilateral C7 nerve root transfer and other three multiple nerve transfers. ⋯ Ipsilateral C7 transfer to the upper trunk of brachial plexus combined with the spinal accessory nerve to the suprascapular nerve is found to be significantly effective on treatment of the root avulsion of C5 and C6 of the brachial plexus.

[The effect of portal blood stasis on lung and renal injury induced by hepatic ischemia reperfusion in a rabbit model].
To investigate the effect and mechanism of portal blood stasis on lung and renal injury induced by hepatic ischemia reperfusion. ⋯ Removal of portal blood stasis before the resume of splanchnic circulation may ameliorate the lung and renal injury induced by hepatic ischemia reperfusion. The possible mechanism may be that portal blood stasis removal reduces endotoxin absorption, and further decreases production of serum TNF-alpha.
