Case Reports[Application of bridged free latissimus dorsi musculo-cutaneous flap on the soft tissue defects in lower extremities].
To evaluate the effect of bridged free latissimus dorsi musculo-cutaneous flap on repairing of soft tissue defect in the lower extremity. ⋯ The repair of extensive soft tissue defect in the lower extremity with bridged free latissimus dorsi musculo-cutaneous flap could be satisfactory. Proper wound management, broad flap, stable immobilization were the pivotal points for the success of the operation.

[An investigation of bacterial ecology and analysis of bacterial resistance to antibiotics in a burn ward in Nanning district].
To investigate the changes in the bacterial ecology and to analyze the bacterial resistance to antibiotics in a burn ward in Nanning district during the past 15 years, so as to provide reference to the clinical management of burn infection under subtropical climate. ⋯ The climate and the way of using antibiotics exerted direct effects on the status of the bacterial ecology and change in bacterial resistance to various antibiotics.

[Establishment of a canine model of severe smoke inhalation injury on unilateral lung].
To establish a canine model of severe smoke inhalation injury on unilateral lung, in order to observe the pathomorphological changes in the injured lung within 24 postburn hours (PBHs). ⋯ The canine model of acute severe unilateral pulmonary smoke inhalation injury was reproduced reliably, and could be an ideal model for the study on smoke inhalation injury.

[The changes in the tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 levels in the lymph and of the dynamics of the lymphokines during shock stage of rats with major burns].
To study the dynamic changes in the lymphokines and the changes in tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels in the lymph during shock stage of rats with major burns. ⋯ After burn injury, the lymphatic vessels dilated, with its motility decreased and speed of flow increased, and the contents of TNF-alpha, IL-6 and IL-8 in lymph were increased during the shock stage of burn rats. Fluid resuscitation could improve the lymph circulation.
