Randomized Controlled Trial[Influence of L-arginine supplementation on the plasma amino acid spectrum in burn patients].
To explore the influence of L-arginine supplementation on the plasma amino acid spectrum in burn patients. ⋯ The production process of L-arginine from citrulline was accelerated after burns. The plasma levels of L-arginine, ornithine and citrulline were increased markedly after L-arginine supplementation, while that of other amino acids was not influenced. The pharmacological effects of L-arginine may be related to the promotion of ornithine cycle.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Influence of the enteral feeding of levorotatory arginine on severely burned patients during shock stage].
To investigate the effects and the mechanism of action of postburn dietary supplementation of levorotatory arginine (L-Arg) on burn shock resuscitation in severely burned patients. ⋯ Enteral supplementation of L-arginine can decrease excessive NO production to a relatively normal level, and it might be beneficial to resuscitation of burn shock. It might also exert a protective effect against ischemia/reperfusion injury to burn patients.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Clinical study and pathological examination on the treatment of deep partial thickness burn wound with negative charge aerosol].
To investigate the effect of negative charge aerosol (NCA) on the treatment of burn wound. ⋯ Negative charge aerosol is safe and effective in promoting wound healing of the patients with partial thickness burns.

[Bacteriological surveillance in a burn intensive care unit and the analysis of bacterial resistance to antibiotics].
To investigate the dynamic changes of the bacterial flora in our burn intensive care unit (ICU) in the past 6 years, and to analyze resistance of bacteria to various antibiotics. ⋯ G(-) bacilli were still predominant in our burn intensive care unit. The isolated bacteria exhibited multiple resistance to antibiotics. The results imply that antibiotics should be administered rationally in the burn wards guided by the bacterial resistance test.

[Influence of social support on the life quality of burn survivors].
To investigate the influence of social support on the life quality of burn survivors. ⋯ The life quality of burn patients can be improved through reinforcement of the social support.
