[Effect of San-huang-sheng-fu oil on wounds of full-thickness scald in rabbits].
To observe the effect of San-huang-sheng-fu oil on wounds of full-thickness scald in rabbits. ⋯ San-huang-sheng-fu oil can up-regulate the protein expressions of TGF-β1, bFGF, and VEGF, induce vascular regeneration, promote wound healing, and shorten wound healing time.

Review[Advances in the research of application of clinical decision support system in fluid resuscitation following severe burn].
Although guidelines and formulas have been developed through clinical practice to define infusion rate and volume, over- and under-resuscitation are still common, followed by increasing morbidity and mortality. In order to establish an effective management for early fluid resuscitation, the clinical decision support system (CDSS) has been established. ⋯ The results showed that patients treated with CDSS had a significantly lower mortality, increased ventilator-free days, and ICU-free days as compared with those treated with traditional fluid management. This article reviews the concepts as well as the result of recent clinical studies of CDSS for burn patients.

[Investigation and analysis of the cognition degree of parents of 150 pediatric burn patients on scar rehabilitation].
To analyze the cognition degree of parents of pediatric burn patients on hyperplasia of scar and its prevention and rehabilitation, so as to provide a guidance for preventing deformity and dysfunction caused by scar hyperplasia. ⋯ Parents of pediatric burn patients do not have enough understanding on the formation and prevention and treatment of postburn scars. Medical staff should enhance the awareness of parents on scar rehabilitation, improve the treatment technology, and promulgate the importance of prevention and treatment of scar formation after a burn injury in the society.

[Analysis of clinical data of 16 595 pediatric burn patients during fifteen years].
To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pediatric burn in the midwest region of Inner Mongolia and the related areas, and to provide reference for seeking pertinent measures of prevention and treatment. ⋯ The defect of construction of Guo-lian-kang is one of the main factors that lead to a high incidence of pediatric burn in the midwest of Inner Mongolia. Installation of a protective bannister between the cooking pot and the "kang (heatable brick bed)" can obviously reduce the incidence of scald injury. Special injury-causing factors, unprofessional pre-hospital treatment of the wound, delayed resuscitation after shock are the main causes of increasing mortality and disability, and they constitute the key targets of prevention and treatment of such injury in future.

[Influence of age on median lethal burn area of burn patients].
To discuss the influence of age on the LA50 (the burn area lethal to 50% of patients) of burn patients. ⋯ Age is one of the important factors that influence the LA50 of burn patients. LA50 in different age groups increases with the development of medical technology; however, the influence of age on LA50 is not visibly changed by the advance of treatment.
